Auto-Rotate not working

Ken Elder

Lurker
I have a Note 5 with Android 7.0. A few weeks ago the auto-rotate feature quit working. In Settings > Accessibility there is no Auto-Rotate setting. In Settings > Display there is no Auto-Rotate setting. When I pull down the Quick Settings options from the top of the display, there is no Auto-Rotate setting. What can I do to enable Auto-Rotate?

the only place I know of to change the auto-rotate is to swipe down from the toolbar and change the settings that way. I have never seen anything specific to screen orientation in the settings.

Sorry I didn't read the entire original post, my auto rotate is right there between the flashlight and Bluetooth on the toolbar drop down

You should be able to go to settings, display, and chose auto rotate.
If it's not there something's borked
