hi, does anyone know how to automatically save your parking location or get the coordinates sms'd? Bixby has a location feature, but the trigger only works when connecting to a car's bluetooth, not disconnecting. Samsung Car has this feature, but i prefer not to use it

Thanks!

Hi, Google Maps will save your parking location, although I have never used the function. It does sound better than Osmand though, but I'm not sure if it is truly automatic, it seems to require a tap on your position on arrival, whereas Osmand can be preset to store the location, although to be perfectly honest I don't think I've ever had the need to use the function so it too may need a tap or two on arrival because it does refer to storing your remaining parking time, which could, in some instances, be very useful.

On reflection, I think both would require a manual confirmation that you have 'parked', otherwise I don't see how they could distinguish between a stop at traffic lights, for instance, and arriving at your destination.

To Save your Parking Location on Google Maps:
  1. Open the Google Maps app

  2. Tap the blue dot that shows your location.
  3. Tap "Save your parking".
You can then find and change (or remove) your parking location by tapping in the search bar > Parking Location. You can also add a photo or a note by tapping the "More Info" option.
