Auto toggle on and off wifi and mobile data every hour

Hi there,

Before deciding paying for this apps, I have a questions whether this apps can toggle on and off my android wifi and mobil data every hour for as long as I want to 365 days maybe?

As my phone have this problem with wifi and mobile data after it connects to either one and after several times my internet connection become gradually slower and slower and only if I toggle on and off it will come back fast and then again after a while become slow and then so on...

Welcome to Android Forums.

You can toggle WiFi. If you are using Android prior to 5.0 you can toggle Mobile. If you are using Android 5.0 or later you must be root-ed to toggle Mobile.

Which app were you going to pay for? There are free apps that can do that, such as Macrodroid
(just noticed I'm in the tasker forum! - sorry!)

Thanks, I was about to buy tasker.. Until you said need rooted...

Any other apps that can do this automation without rooting involves?

It was a restriction introduced in the system at version 5.0 for security.

I am not root-ed. I always leave mobile data on. I use Tasker to see if I am within range of one of my wireless routers. If I am Tasker toggles WiFi on. If I am not Tasker toggles WiFi off.

Thanks for the reply... The problem withvmy android is that I always still connected to wifi and mobile data, and I always known the range will always be a good range... It's just that after a while the connected for whatever reason become slow for browsing... (so weird)
So I dont actually need location wise function to automate, I just need time schedule every hour to toggle on and off will suffice..

Did you Wipe Cache Partition deleting all temporary data and not touching permeate data, apps, or settings? (I do this every Saturday.)

It can become fragmented over time that results in slower response.

Good recommendation.

To clarify, best cache partition wipe can be done from recovery.
And most (but not all phones) can wipe cache from stock recovery)
