Automatic call reject with sms

Dear all,
Is it really necessary to install a third party app in order to get automatic call reject along with a predefined sms to the caller (SGS3)?

I can set it up so I can manually choose to reject and pick an sms from the list - but not automated. I am I looking the wrong place?

I'm afraid there is no standard setting that would allow you do that. You will need 3rd party app, like Tasker, or something much simpler. Tho, tasker would certainly do this and more, like custom message to certain number, different message at different times of day or location or even phone's position (face up or face down).

Open the phone dialer and then tap the Menu soft key and go into Call Settings. Top 2 setting will do this. You just have to have rejected a number for it to show in the list and then choose the message you want sent.
