Dear all,
Let me start off by saying that this is my first thread in this forum, and in any forum actually.
My question is very simple and I couldn't find an answer anywhere else.
I own a Nexus 7 and a Nexus 5. When I bought the Nexus 5, after turning it on and logging in with my Google account, it immediately started to sync and download all the apps I had installed on my Nexus 7 (because it's same google account off course). I even had my data connection on because I didn't have wireless at the time and I blew my entire monthly data package before I could turn it off but that's another matter
.
I recently also rooted and installed Android 4.2 on my girlfriend's Asus Memo Pad and as soon as I signed on with her account it started to download all the apps she had before (the reason I formatted it in the first place was because she had many unused apps and it was running slow, so I ended up uninstalling the apps one by one).
I would now like to know how can I format my Nexus 7 and not getting all the apps downloaded automatically. I know I can always turn off syncing but that is kind of a bad solution for this because I would eventually like to turn it on and it will just start downloading everything again. Is there even a way to choose which apps I would like to have again?
Best regards and sorry for the long post, as well as any grammar/spelling mistakes... like I said, it's my first forum post and I'm not an English language native
Cheers
