Hello everyone,
I've been going mad trying to solve this, hoping anyone could be of help here.
I've owned my S7 with Bell for about a year now, and a month ago my AUX port started acting up. When I plug it into my car (Dodge Caravan 2011), I get what sounds like a feedback loop. It's a constant sound of "dadum dadum dadum" like a skipping CD player.
The phone itself does not recognize that it's been plugged in, playing sound on it will just play on the phone's speakers. I have tried doing a software full reset, it didn't help. I have tried cleaning my connectors, also failed.
I have tried 4 different AUX cables, same issue.
I have tried using my phone with those AUX cables in 2 other cars (Ford Fusion 2013, Ford Explorer 2015), same issue, didn't work.
I have tried hooking up another S7 to my car, it works fine
Has anyone encountered this issue and found a way to fix it without sending in their phone?
