Are there any apps that play videos that are in avi format? almost all my video is in avi

Nope, the AVI format isn't supported by the phone, so no app will be able to play them.

Get a converter program. HandBrake is good, and free.

Depends on the size of the file, of course, but I doubt it'll be too painful.

AVIs are HUGE files, too.

yxflash is on the market and will play most of my avi files out of the box.
