Hey everyone,

I am completely new to Droid - just got my first one about a week ago (after having a 'regular' touch screen phone for ever) - and I can honestly say this phone is starting to become an obsession lol :D

Anyway, I have browsed through some threads, so I apologize if this is redundant. Know that my phone is not rooted.

My questions about skins are:

What is the best app to use for them that is free?

When you use a paid app is it a one time fee or do you pay monthly, or do you have to pay additional $$ with every update?

Side questions (I know, they prolly belong in another section but..)
How do I change the icons for everything ont he phone?
How do I manage apps in one folder (I created a folder but don't know how to change the icon/ name)

I have other questions, but I think this will do for now.

Apps to use to customize, Launcher Pro, Zeam, ADW, GO Launcher, Desktop Visualizer they are free apps, then add all the widget apps you want, see above thread

Payed apps are one time payments

Changing icons, use Desktop Visualizer, if you are talking about changing all the system icons you cant unless you run a custom ROM.... unless there is an app or if it can be done by being rooted, so not 100% sure on that one

For your apps in a folder try Simi Folder, should do what you need it to do

Once again go through that link at the top, you can learn most of what you need to know in there

so how do to root a g2 correctly because i have heard so many way ehere shit done work .or you know , , so can you give me a quick step by step way if you can , , ? thankss ,
