Help Backing up game data

I have a bunch of games on my phone and I need to back up my game data so I do not lose my place when I get a new phone. It seems as though all the back up apps I am finding just back up the game only. What is the best way to do this? Thank you

I have not personally used it, but I hear good things about the app, Helium.
May want to check it out?
