Backing up text messages and data.

Hello all,
I need to factory reset my Samsung galaxy s5. Which app is good for backing up for text messages, contacts, photos, ETC?
If anyone can please let me know.
Thanks!!

If you look in: 'Settings > Backup and reset' make sure you have 'Backup my data' and 'Automatic restore' enabled. This will transfer all compatible apps and some system settings.

For the rest, MyBackup Pro works well and doesn't require a PC. Helium is better in that it will save more settings and other data, but still maybe not everything and does require a PC.

Take a look at Helium Backup, it will back up apps and their data.

I think it will do SMS too, but to be on the safe side, look at SMS Backup & Restore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.SMSBackupRestore

Contacts should be backed up to your gmail account, can you see them here: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#contacts

Where are the pictures stored? On the phones internal memory or the SD Card? If the latter, you can just take the SD Card out when you reset. If the former, they can just be copied to your PC.

Edit - Crashdamage beat me by seconds! :p

Yeah, I highly recommend backing up contacts, calendars and what else you can to your Google account.

MyBackup does save SMS/MMS. Pretty sure Helium does too.
