My htc m8 mini has some sort of backlight problem. The screen is totally black but the phone still works apart from that, rings gets texts and other notifications. I can even tell the touchscreen works. The problem I have is trying to save everything to my laptop before it is sent away for repair. I hoped I could just plug it in and it would come up on the laptop but it won't. The htc program comes up but it says no phone connected. I presume I need to select something on the phone but of course I can't see it to do it. Anyone got any ideas?
