Help Backlight only (no image display after screen replacement)

I recently replaced broken LCD screen and digitizer assembly on my THL 5000 smartphone, the backlight comes on, but no images are displayed at all. The phone can still receive calls, notification sounds on incoming messages, all touch functions appear to work (by sound and haptic feedback).

The vendor has told me to flash the rom, which I have done several times I believe correctly, without success. I've been searching internet threads and haven't been able to come up with a solution.

Could it be a problem with the new screen/digitizer or connection problem? Your advices or direction would be most grateful.

What prompted the replacement of the display? (Did the screen get shattered, display stop functioning, touches stop registering, etc.)

Assuming the display worked before the replacement and it doesn't work after the replacement, it sounds to me like a hardware issue - no amount of ROM flashing or software tweaking is likely to help. I'd double-check that all the connections are made securely and then see if the vendor would be willing to swap it out.
