Backup from Droid, Restore to Droid X

This may be too much to wish for.

I am thinking of moving from my Droid to a Droid X in a few months. I would like to back up all my Droid apps and data, then restore them to a Droid X.

Does anyone know of any apps capable of such a feat?

Not sure if there is an application out there that would be capable of backing up your apps...

However, for everything else.... The Free MIQ application is a great solution to backup your phone. You just download the app from the market and it will backup all the things you want it to. (Contacts, SMS, calender, photos, videos ect.) This is a push cloud system so anytime you send a new text, add a contact, or take photo is will automatically backup to your private account on the web. You can sign in online and manage your contacts or send texts from the web as well. When you make the phone switch you just download the app on your new phone and log in and all your data will be restored! Pretty Awesome, and you never have to plug in again!

Hope that serves as a good option. Good luck!
