Backup my device?

NEw to android. I own an LG G6. How do I backup the content? How do I know if my content is being backed up? :( sorry for what maybe a stupid question. I just don't know the answer.

Thank you

Your user data, in internal storage, can be backed up to a computer. Just connect the phone, pull down the notification bar and select "File Transfer", and a window should open on your PC with your phone's files. Open another window and select the destination folder. You can create one called "Phone Backup" or something, and then CTRL+A in the phone's window to select all. Drag and drop to copy everything. It may take a long time, depending on how much data needs to move.

There is an app called SMS Backup and Restore that can back up your messages.

I'd also like to add to be sure to auto upload your pictures to Google Photos.

If I had a dime for everyone I hear of stating that they lost their photos due to some device malfunction and did not upload their photos, I'd have enough to buy a Note 8 :D

So yeah, be sure to upload your pictures automatically from within the Photos app :)

3 Note 8s for me since I'm active in another Android forum.

You can also use Helium via the no root activator. It can back up app data progress and others except media.

Hmmm upload to google photos. I'll have to look it up. I use " gallery" to view the pictures. Oh looks like maybe they are being auto uploaded. I just opened google photos and my pics are there.

Thanks
