bad battery life on sony erricsson mini pro

hi,
i have recently purchased a mini pro,
but i have a horrible battery life.
it doesnt even last a day and needs to be charged halfway in the day.
also, i had the android market app on the phone which has suddenly disappeared.\\\plz help

When you say that the Market app has disappeared, this could be because the market has recently undergone a change and is now called Google Play... have you got that now instead?

As for battery life... that is a general problem with Smartphones... although not even lasting a full day is a bit bad... battery life generally depends on what you are doing with your phone.
