Now over on the iphone there are lots of Apps for natwest, HSBC etc etc

My question is are there any online banking apps for Android? Or any plans for apps in the futue?

Any info would be great.

There are several banking apps.
Most of them are specific to the bank you use. I assume that allows them to have better security.

I don't use an app for my credit union, but their mobile website is great. I also use the app Mint for view all of my finances (IRA, 401(k), bank accounts, mortgage, etc.)

Looks like the OP is from the UK. Most of the apps you mention are for US banks only, or are like mint and US only. Like the OP it would be good to know whether there are any pucka apps that work in the UK.

I used Mint for a while, and I think it does offer real-time information.
