Help barcode scanner app doesn't scan

Has anyone had problems getting the barcode scanner to work on the Devour? Phone takes pictures fine, but we can't get it to recognize a barcode.

the phone doesnt have a autofocus camera so it cant read barcodes very well. ive found that the shopper app works well for scanning pictures of cds and dvds. and its free

use google shopper, works better, and can identify covers of albums and movies and book and such.

I found that ShopSavvy is okay, you can hand-enter UPC codes if the bar code won't scan.
