Basic Tmo service = no missed calls

Mac29

Newbie
I'm using Pie on a Moto X4 but the problem involves my carrier and Tmo service. Apparently, because I'm using Tmo (GSM LTE ) vs. their "super" LTE (Verizon) my phone doesn't show me when I have missed calls.
Therefore, I don't know to check voice messages.

I would imagine any app would have access to the same data that Pie uses, and therefore couldn't overcome this problem. Obviously, missed calls is a basic function of a phone. If any app could help it would save a few $.

Anyone else have this issue? I believe I can switch my SIM to use the Verizon 'network' but I'm vy disappointed
and wonder if this happens on any other carrier. The carrier is U.S. Mobile.

Thank you.

I was using a Moto X4 (running Pie) on T-Mo until last week and I got missed call notifications.

Figured that would be the case. Well, this is what they're telling me. Makes me wonder if the SIM switch is them punting. Think I'll have to see if I can post on a forum for U.S. Mobile.

Thank you.

No. They're a little known MVNO I believe is the acronym. They allow you to tailor 'buckets' of how much minutes, texts, data you want. Similar to Ting.

OK. I actually use Mint Mobile which is an MVNO running on T-Mo towers, so sort of the same thing

Had some internet issues but I'm contacting U.S. Mobile today to see about switching SIMs.

Thank you.
