I just washed out some of those hospital slipper socks. They left a blue stain in the sink. How do I get rid of that? I took a couple of pictures but they don't show it very well.
Way way back in the day, no about town hippie would be caught dead in a pair of new jeans. After losing a great deal of weight, I was forced to buy some new threads. I had the scathingly brilliant idea of soaking them in a diluted bleach solution and used the family bathtub for the project. I turned that tub, which my mother cleaned daily, the most livid blue you'll ever see. After the panic subsided I again filled the tub and used a much stronger solution of bleach and water. I let it stand an hour or so and the problem was solved.
Comet may well work but it's an abrasive cleaner. You'll need to supply the elbow grease. Bleach such as Clorox will bleach out the stains without any work. You might try the Comet method first. You can always try bleach if that fails.
