I'm new to the both this forum and Android, so bear with me. My phone is an LG G3 with Marshmallow.
The problem is this: without any changes to any settings on my part, when I now unplug my phone from charging it comes up with a lock screen showing the percentage of charge and saying "swipe to unlock". The problem with this is that I now don't get any audible alerts until I "swipe" and get back to the home screen. This is a problem because I am missing reminders while the phone is charging.
This just started spontaneously within the last few days. Prior to this I would get alerts and notifications while the phone was charging, and there was no lock screen. I checked my app and system settings and I don't see what would cause this. I don't have a lock screen set at all.
Any help would be appreciated.
Note: I did a forum search before posting this, and there was a similar posting back in 2015, but there were no responses.
