Battery charging very slowly

So this has been going on for a while now, and I've tried everything and I'm all out of ideas. The battery when charging, charges INCREDIBLY slow, and the percentage will only go up when the phone is either turned off or in sleep mode. Now I've tried everything, I've switched batteries, I've switched cables, I've switched power blocks. And nothing, it takes hours and hours for it to charge. I've tried factory resetting it, but when i reset it and put in my backup password, the phone just shuts off and nothing else happens, and then when I try to turn it back on it goes into odin mode. It also doesn't show up on my computer when I plug it in.
Is there any way to fix these?
Attached is the screen when it enters odin mode on reboot.

I'm due for an upgrade but I'm waiting for the Note 6 to come out before I make any decision on staying with Samsung or switching over to LG or another company.

My Note 4 was also slowing down, and I was pretty sure it was a tired battery.

Then I bought an Anker 26800 PowerCore battery pack charger.

wow! Charges times back like they used to be, went from 15% to 95% in 55 minutes.

easy way to test hardware... remove battery, plug in, insert battery. if it shows charging screen and charges as expected, the hardware is fine.

you mention a factory reset and a backup password. password for what? if you're resetting and then reloading from a backup, you're likely reloading the problem. if that's the case, FDR and setup as a new device.

Doesn't matter what I plug into it, still charges slowly, I've even replaced batteries like 3 times.

the back up password is just the password I set so people cant factory reset it without my approval. I want to try and see if it will let me do it that way but it won't let me factory reset it, and it also doesn't show up when I plug it into my computer.
