I turn my S3 off & charge overnight.
I noticed yesterday that the battery indicator was showing only half full quite early in the day.
This morning after charging, I checked & the battery & it is only 52% full & is shown as having been in use for 2days plus.
Have put it back on charge on the same charger with the phone switched on & it is now charging OK & reached 63%. It appears the charger, cable & phone socket look OK. Will keep under observation & report back.

July 16 :Now appears to be working fine - charging to 100% etc so this must have been just a glitch.
July 19: Only 90% charged & still showing charging after 8 hours - something not right - will monitor closely for a few days
