Battery drain. But other soloution?

Hey!

After my update to Marshmallow, my battery draines pretty d*mn good.

I have heard that the soloution is to do a factory reset.
(I did that once on my S2, worked perfect)

But I don't feel so much by doing that.
As it takes times to do all settings, install all apps etc.

So I'm woundering if there's another idea then to do a factory reset.
Thanks for replies!

Edit: I forgot to think about if this was alredy posted or not.
But I guess I would not find that answer directly in that topic anyway.

And also there's a huge chance by going trough d*mn alot of pages.

So if anyone know exactly my reply, this topic can just be locked/delted if it's not needed.
Sorry for my clumsiness.

Almost forgot to say, you would not always get replies in a old topic either.
But anyway I hope it's ok..

Edit: I have also tried to Google it, but didn't found what I was looking for.

I have managed to upgrade my S5 twice in 3 days now, from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1 to 6.0 and never once did a FDR.
but.....
I pulled the SIM out, I purged all of the cache, and deleted all of the junk apps...

all that to be sure it did not have an "Insufficient Memory" issue

The first time thru with MM I noticed the battery was draining faster than normal.
but, this is not my First Rodeo............

I just did a Restart, and let it come up again, and I restarted it everyday for about a week.

it seems to be just fine now.... YMMV
