I just got a Huawei watch. Battery lasted 5 hours from full charge on the first day. This was on lowest brightness setting, but notifications from facebook messenger were enabled, as was wifi. I changed the settings according to the basic advice given via "Help" within the Android Wear app.
Settings are as follows:
Software version: most recent, currently up to date.
Notifications enabled: messages, email and phone calls.
Brightness: lowest brightness setting.
Watch face: classic.
Wi-fi: disabled.
Bluetooth: enabled.
Sound: off.
Tilt to wake screen: enabled.
Always on screen: disabled.
I'm wondering why my battery life is still so poor, given that the settings do not reflect great battery use.
Could anyone give me some feedback on whether there could be a hardware issue, or how I can troubleshoot the battery drain?
Thank you.
