(I post here because I did not find a Kyocera forum nor a MetroPCS forum.)
I bought a Kyocera E4710 phone unlocked. It is a flip-phone Android (no touch screen). It had been an AT&T phone. I changed it to my metroPCS account and SIM card with no problem. When I turn on the phone, it shows the Kyocera logo screen, then the AT&T logo screen, then it goes into metroPCS.
The battery loses approximately 10% of charge per hour. I turned off wifi, Bluetooth, and location service; there are no visible Apps - yet no change in battery discharge. I looked at the phone memory via USB "media" connection to a Windows computer; it shows only a few folders, no root folder. (When the phone is off, the battery does not lose charge.)
My guess is that a process still runs in the Android system from when the phone was AT&T.
What can I do to get a normal rate of battery drain? Thank you.
