Help Battery Drain

My phone suddenly began to drain power excessively. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Probably an app causing a wakelock issue. Check your battery stats if an app seems out of the ordinary

Did you check your battery monitor?
I noticed my screen using like %70 of battery, that's pretty weird. Then I realized screen was not timing out after I put the phone down..

It was most likely an app causing havoc. Just pull the battery next time. I have had it happen a couple times before on my phone. Usually after installing a new app.
