I am just about to jump onto the Android bandwagon, and probably its development.
One generic query - I understand that more and more applications now will want to know device location from GPS, cell towers or wifi triangulation.
Problem I see is that all apps try to get GPS fix etc. Is it possible that once the best possible location is found, it is cached for some time, so that all future app requests for the next few minutes come from that cache, instead of 5 apps trying to get GPS/wifi fix every few minutes, not aware that another app got the location just a few seconds back?
