Root Battery fully charged unplug charger notification in cyanogenmod 7.2

Hi All,

Dear Experts, I have a query regarding battery fully charged status. I have installed cyanogenmod 7.2 on gingerbread. When on gingerbread, i used to get 'Battery Fully Charged Unplug Charger' notification when the battery is fully charged. In CM 7.2, i don't see the notification. Do I have to wait until the notification appears or can i disconnect charger after the charging icon changes? Any help will be highly appreciated.

There is no such notification in CM, just check the battery in settings>about phone>status and unplug the charger when its fully charged.

Note: at times the battery indicator on the status bar might not show the exact charge values during charging, so confirm the full charge from settings menu.

Thanks for quick response.

don't know why there is no notification for battery full but i remove the charger once the battery icon changes.. is there any way we can set a notification for battery full, i guess this option should be available in cm7 settings itself.

Thats true, it should be there, but anyways you can always use an app for that.
I usually give it around 20-30mins more charge after the icon changes, and that does helps, if i remove it when the icon changes it drops to 85-90% pretty quick, but that extra charge makes sure it stays on 100% for some time and drops slowly thereafter.

you can have the battery widget in lock screen enabled from cyanogenmod settings. Once it is enabled u can see the percentage of battery and other details.. It ll be showing charging while cable is plugged in. Once it has changed to charged, you can unplug the charger.
