Battery Help!

Hello, i currently have the app Advanced Task Cleaner Pro. There is a feature for auto killing tasks and i was wondering if they are being stopped from working or just off until i acctual use them, and then when i stop they go back to being auto killed off to save battery, if you could explain this better then thanks. And also i have juice defender. Opinions on this? Or if there is a better one?

It will really depend on the apps. But if they are running, they are most likely performing a function, so killing them will only cause more problems. It is more likely that most of what you see as running really isn't consuming any resources at all. Which apps in particular concern you?

Well i have go launcher x with some of its widgets... I heard it drains battery fast and am worried, i have noticed my battery going down pretty fast though. But i really love the app and dont want to uninstall it!

Any launcher isn't going to significantly impact battery life. Widgets, however can cause problems if they are constantly polling for information.

If you are using GO launcher, you can't kill it and continue to use. If you are not using it, simply having it installed will not affect the battery at all.
