Battery: How hot is too hot?

Using Set CPU how hot is too hot for the battery? Mine is between 33c - 38c. I have a profile that lowers the speed from 1.1 to 400 mhz > 50c

And how hot is too hot for the CPU?

At 120 or so degrees it's probably not going to do irreperable harm to the CPU. That said some solder melts at 90 degrees celcius so my thinking is that it's the other components of the system board that can be harmed by too much heat.
 
HTC safety information says for the battery ... no temperature above 60 degrees celcius.
