Battery - how long before you replace it?

I've had my N1 since June 2010. After 1yr and 4 moths, I can tell that the battery lasts considerably less than it did before. I guess it's time for a new battery (I love my N1 and I intend to use it until it dies.)

Have any of you replaced the battery? How long have you had it before you had to replace it?

Yeah, I was thinking mine's lasting shorter time period...

hmmnn, I'll pop in a spare & see if it is the "old" battery or sw-apps/2.3.6/whatever...

When you replace a battery, do you re-calibrate it somehow, or do you just pop it in and you're good to go? Does the system need to somehow "identify" the new battery and run its statistics according to the new parameters?

There is no set answer for when to replace your battery. Depends on too many individual factors. Let me suggest that you go to this site to buy a replacement battery:

Cellphoneshop Search Results for Nexus One

Used them a few times and no complaints. A replacement battery is only $11.99. I bought a couple of replacement batteries about a year ago and switch them on my phone and always have at least one in my car just in case.
