battery icon all that comes up

[Android Question]

When I turned on my tablet this morning, it would not work. All that would happen was the battery icon would come up & show 100% and then it would shut off.. It is 3 days old....I want my laptop back... What could the problem be??

However, it is possible that the power button is not being held down long enough. Please try holding the button down for at least a minute, and see if that helps.
