Help Battery Indicator - 10% Interments

Is it a feature of motorola phones or just the razr to give battery readings in increments of 10% and not in single %'s.

Is there a way to change this ?

Also, I am assuming that when it states for example 50%, it means a figure in the 50's

coming from an original droid that ran vanilla android, it did the 10% increments. "Battery Left" widget will give you an estimate to a single digit.

I sometimes get 5% increments on my bionic, but not often.

Tried a number of widgets, battery left one gives it in 10% also and states readings are inaccurate, so I have hit the recalibrate setting which says it will do this over a couple of days

Coming from my rooted HTC desire, this large increments reading is a bit alien to me

The Droid X also gives 10% increments.

The challenge with being more granular, I suspect, is that the phone would drain the battery quicker since a more granular battery display would likely require more frequent checks of the battery.

you don't have to hit the recalibrate button. it says it's inaccurate because you just downloaded it and it doesn't know your usage patterns yet. the more you use it in the next few days, it'll state "moderate" accuracy, then "accurate". it takes a couple of days, but it's gets more accurate the more you use it and you should run it from fully charged to just about dead a couple of times...maybe 3-4 times so the widget can see battery usage from 100% all the way down to almost dead.

personally, i have my battery left widget to display the estimated % in the main line, then system % in the second line, then time left until dead in the bottom line.

just give it a few days. feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions - i used this widget on my previous phone too, so i'm pretty familiar.
