Battery Indicator

I want a battery indicator that breaks down to 1% increments and I can't find where this comes stock. I am also afraid to get one from the market because I read that some of them actually drain a lot of battery life. I would appreciate recommendations for the best one.

I use Widgetsoid which has a battery indicator, battery temperature and of course widgets.

I am happy with my current clock and weather, will this allow me to only use the things I do want?
