Hey, I have an issue with the battery. I don't quite know how to explain it but it seems the wrong percentages are showing, much like with a oldfashioned phone when the battery starts to wear out. For example last night I plugged it in to charge and it charged to 99%. I turn it off and turn it on again this morning and I already lost battery power. The battery indicator was missing a part, or a bar, whatever you call it. It was at 84 percent when I plugged it in to charge and a minute later it's at 99%. The battery capacity doesn't seem very good either - started it up at 8 am, made a call and checked my mails once and by 2pm it was already nagging at me to connect the charger! My school days last from 8 to 7 so I really can't go socket hunting every ten minutes.
What I did notice is that since I updated the software it's doing an awful lot of scanning the media on my phone. It used to do that only on startup but now it does it 3 - 4 times a day (that I notice).
It's a samsung galaxy ace phone running android 2.3.3, barely 2 months old.
