The real way to keep your battery healthy is to let your battery drop top below 10% charge. Then shut off the phone and charge it to 100% full without turning it on. Charge it straight thru once a month. It might be too late for your current battery but do or i any new battery or phone you get.

Your screen brightness is a bit high, reducing screen brightness can help to save battery.

Is it a brand new phone?

hi everybody , sorry busy weekend. no it's not a brand new phone about 3 months in . problem was my battery had been great then dropped . I've been thinking apps are to blame , still doing tests. I think it's starting to get better . As far as the screen when I posted my screenshot the brightness on my phone was at 0% at 32% right now it says 43% usage . this is what I find weird. Right now even my phone radio is at 20% I haven't talked to anyone today. 36% app usage 8% by dolphin , 7% by youtube , and 5% by android system , 3% by system (mediaserver) , 2.7% by kernel (android os ) , and 2.5 by spotify. those are the major ones . these numbers are from gsam . does that sound normal , or are those numbers off?. I appreciate the help .
thank you .

I have to say at times my battery life is pretty terrible as well. There are times I will lose about 50% in a matter of an hour when the phone is on standby, sometimes more. The phone gets hot as well during this time. It just started doing this. I have two batteries, so I've kinda swap out the two every so often to give one a rest.

I think it has something to do with cell standby. If the reception is weak the phone will overheat trying to keep signal, draining the battery in the process. But once I turn airplane mode on with wifi-calling the phone cools back down to normal and battery life returns to average.
