battery life is so so poor.

I have HTC desire and find my battery life from fully charged to dead is between 4 hours to 6 hours.
Is anybody else having this problem or do you think the battery is faulty ?
I've only had the phone 4 months and find it annoying that i have to turn phone off to save battery. What's point having it as a phone if you have to turn it off..

Same problem here amigo. I dropped my Blackberry for the EVO and its rediculous how it drains battery life. I keep my wifi,gps and any othe apps diabled unless I need it. But i will get maybe 8hrs of life out of it.

Which OS version are you running? 2.1 or 2.2?

Are you using a task killer?

Have you updated your facebook app?

What is your phone usage like? Basically what ways are you constantly using your phone?

I think its 2.2 I'm using....was an update not long ago.
Never used a task killer.
Facebook ever day on it (do you mean streams ?) Cause i dint use that.
I use phone alot for looking on net. But even if i don't look on net or play games it only last about six hours.
