Battery life

Hi all. So I'm really tempted by the Z Play due to the reports of amazing battery life. Any Z Play owners out there that can comment on if the real world battery life is as good as the claims.

Cheers :)

Battery is amazing. First day I didn't have high accuracy on. Second I have it on.

Is performance good too?
I currently have a Galaxy S5, I really don't need amazing performance but I love the idea of a phone that actually lasts all day with moderate use. My GS5 just doesn't come close.

Definitely good on performance. The 625 handles games well. Even Riptide, which is fairly graphics intensive plays well. There are a few videos on YouTube showing game play. I haven't had any issue with multitasking, but 3gb of ram will have its limits. But, again I've not had an issue. The phone has been quick and responsive. No real lag to speak of. My complaintis are minor so far. Like with the speaker/earpiece. Its not great. People sound tinny or like there's a slight echo. Its hard to describe. Sound output through headphones is great though. I also wish they had put the Moto dimple (like my X) on the swappable shell backs. I find I keep putting my finger on the camera, which will lead to smudges. Some have complained about the fingerprint scanner not acting as a home button, but I don't find it to be that big of a deal. You get use to it pretty quickly. Besides a software update may be capable of enabling that in the future. It's not a perfect phone, but it's an incredible value. I've never owned a smartphone before where I don't keep a charger with me. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Hope this helps. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else.

Wow, simply amazing battery life. I remember when I set up my S5 originally it downloaded all my apps from the play store and I played with it for a while and was a little disappointed that it was on 70% battery. The Moto spent a while installing 70 apps, when it had finished that it was on 92%, I then used it heavily all afternoon, setting up, lots of screen time, some gaming and it was still on 79%.

Used to take my S5 off charge before work and it would be on its knees after 15 hours, needed a charge every night. Went to work the other day with the Moto same use as with the S5, came home didn't charge overnight and did a whole extra day :)

Battery life is amazing.

ATT users should know that the unlocked Z play does not have a receiver for channel 17 lte, which is att's main channel. This means I only get hpsa (3g) in Dallas. It will probably be the same in most major markets. Not a deal breaker for me as I rarely stream anything over cellular, but you should know.

Is the unlocked one not specifically for the U.S market then? Seems odd to sell a phone in a country that doesn't cover all frequencies.

All I can tell you is I never get LTE, and I'm pretty sure this is the reason. If I could find an ATT town where the main band was other than 17, and there are supposed to be some, I would test it.
