Battery life

I got my S3 today and am not real sure what to expect from it's battery life. From what I've read there are some with issues. What kind of life should I expect and how do I know if I've got an issue?

Also, are there an settings I should update to help the battery? I used JuiceDefender on my original Galaxy...will that help on the S3?
