Battery Life

Now, I'm sure you all (just like me) are probably sick and tired of this topic or issue, but the truth is I haven't found a definite answer for what I'm looking for. Why is this happening to my phone? (btw I'm new to the Androidverse, so I don't know if this is a common problem or not.) Apparently my Android OS was made primarily for eating through batteries? I'm so confused and lost on this topic. I have Battery Doctor and Clean Sweep. Wow. A lot of good this did me, I can't even add a pic to this post. Anyway, my OS says it's eaten up 41% of my battery. WTF

I have two words for you: Green Power (in Play Store).

Yeah, if you give Green Power a try I'd delete those two until I determined which you preferred. I think you'll be very happy with GP.

Okay, just downloaded it, so excited to see if it works. I saw NO reviews for the Galaxy S5 though. So I pretty much am hoping you don't work for this company and just spammed me.

I looked at Green Power and unloaded it, stayed with Battery Doctor which suits my needs much better and far simpler.

I do NOT want WIFI or DATA being turned ON unless I want it ON.

Mine is still doing it as well. Android OS and System are killing my battery. Only thing I can come up with is crapy signal at work. But I dont wanna keep turning it on and off

tried Battery Doctor, DU battery saver, almost the same.. .no difference on battery life seen.. how's this Green Power??

If you don't take the time to learn an app and program it correctly, then none of them will work for you.

Battery Doctor does work and works well as I can prove daily.

But you must learn to use it, there are many profiles to be set up in it, if you don't, it is useless.

Try it and see how you like it. I'm now at 24+ hours on battery with 1 1/2 hours of screen on time and I have 61% battery still remaining.

I have GP managing data, wifi and bluetooth. I have location set to "power saving" and (of course) I've disabledstopped all crapware, etc. Give GP a try and see what you think. If you don't like it just uninstall it.

wondering why even the latest phone still needs a battery saver..

learn the app? tried this for less than a year.. same old turning off the services when not in need.. on a specific time or given time.. nothing extra ordinary... can you give your OWN set up ??

How much battery life is everyone getting and what are you expecting? I got my S5 on Saturday. I have been getting, what I consider, great battery life. Currently I'm at 8hrs 40mins with 65% battery left. Android System took 20%, Screen-18%, and OS-14%.
