Battery Life

Just wondering how long your battery last. I guess I would say I check my phone often... very often.. lol but the battery life isn't that good to me. I am charging my battery every 6 hours. How much time are you getting?

It depends on how you use the phone.
I'm laid back, and do not allow anything to have Notifications enabled.
I also keep DATA turned OFF all the time.
I have WiFi automatically turned OFF when the screen is locked (MacroDroid does that for me)

My S5 will use about 1% overnight while I am sleeping. currently, it is at 76% but I have been using the phone a lot today and laying it down on the Qi pad in between times.... so that don't give a valid indicator for you.

On my "normal days" when I just look at email once in a while, or maybe send/receive a few SMS items, it gives me two full days between charges. Today, I used the camera a lot, had the 'Flashlight' on all the time while shooting pix; because that allows me to preview the scene and stay away from "hotspot flashes" on the images. By mid afternoon, it was down to about 54% as I recall, I made a couple of long phone calls and when I do that, I am usually at my desk using my Bluetooth truckers headset... so I just lay the phone on the Qi pad while we talk. That just barely charges at a 1% or 2% rate more than the phone is using while we talk. Stops the battery drain, and that is all I care about.

My wife's S5 lasts about a day maybe, she plays games on it and keeps the screen on a lot. It also has a Qi charger so it is easy for her to keep it charged up.

On both of the S5's, I have MacroDroid programmed to turn OFF all system sounds while the charging is in effect. That way it does not beep at us when it gets almost fully charged... the screen wakes up, but we don't hear anything. I like MacroDroid.

Galaxy Note 5 is comes with a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery which offers long battery life. The phone last long with 28 hours and 31 minutes while talking and 10 hours and 43 minutes while browsing data. So it’s a nice phone for those who is suffered from short battery life problem.

I can usually get by charging my phone just once a day but there are so many different models of phones running various versions of Android with everybody relying on so many different apps that there's a really, really wide range of constantly changing battery recharge times to compare yourself to. But six hours is kind of annoying. To supplement your regular charging would buying an external battery fit into your day-to-day phone usage maybe? This article with lots of recommendations and general external battery info is worth reading through:
