Battery questions

I never bought the charger with my N1 so have just been using my USB cable to charge it. Its been taking 5 hours to go from 10% to 100%. Is this because its only USB instead of mains power?

Also, Ive noticed the battery doesn't last for long, if i charged it using mains power to 100% would it last longer at all?

When i went to sleep last night my phone was above 90% and when i woke up it was 0%. Had to plug it in for it to even turn on.

Could that be because im charging it with USB?
