I've had my nexus 5 for 18 months, and it doesn't last as long as when it was new. Has anyone replaced the battery and what luck have you had. OEM batteries are advertized on Amazon. Wast worth the effort? Any problems or tricks. You tube has instructions. Seems pretty straight forward. Thanks for any thoughts

You may find that you had more battery life with KitKat than Lollipop. My wife still uses KitKat and gets much more screen time than I do with Lollipop.
That said, I would be wary of the "OEM" batteries out there. There's really no way of knowing if it's a legit LG battery. They ALL say OEM. I'd hate for you to go through the trouble of replacing it only to find that it doesn't work as well as the original.
