Root battery status issue after CM7 mod

so after i modded to CM7, my battery doesn't appear to hold its charge.
as soon as i unplug the charger (after it reaches 100% of course) it drops to 99%. has anyone had this issue? is this normal? or is my battery messed? only had this phone for about a month

i tried battery calibration app, thinking it had to do with the battery log thing...but the problem persists

Mine does the same, as soon as I disconnect it, it goes from charged to 99%. I thought it was normal.

I thought it was normal as well.. theoretically, it can only be fully charged if it's still connected - the second it is unplugged, it is discharging that stored power.

Perhaps what you're describing is the norm on CM7, but on my stock Defy running 2.2.1 (USA) it charges to 100% and stays at 100% for a reasonably long period of time after disconnect.
