Battery Water damage

I was out in the rain with my S3 and the screen got wet. I didn't think much of it so I wiped it off.

I turned it off and plugged it in for the night and the next morning when I unplugged it , it was only at 40%... I used all the battery until it died, and then I tried to plug it in the wall but it wouldn't charge. I opened up the back, and it was a bit damp near the bottom, I wiped that up. The water damage sticker on the phone was not red or pink, but the one on my battery was. Does this mean my battery is broken forever and I have to buy a new one?

For now, I have my phone in a bag with some rice, But I think the battery is done for good. Are there any good sites to buy S3 batteries from? I need one quickly if this rice thing doesn't work.

Thanks.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but using the phone when water damaged isn't something you should have done, you'll be lucky if it is only the battery that's kaput.
