Battery will not charge over 1%

Phone has recently been replaced with a new battery as it will not charge to over 1%. When replaced it worked fine with full battery but then returned to normal charging of 1% any ideas? Screen started to blink also telling me it must be a battery flat

Hi, if you haven't done already, you could try different charging methods, ie mains, car or USB from laptop/PC.

If, as in my case, each of the three methods uses the same USB cable, you should try with at least two different cables.
