Battle for Mars Anyone?

I'm lovin this game so far (Larva Labs is AWESOME), it's just like Advance Wars, another great game.
What strategies do you guys have for the first and only level (it's a Lite version right now), to beat it? The enemy always starts closer to the buildings to capture, and I have yet to beat them.
Also, when's the full version come out?
And can you build more buildings than just the ones you start with?

I have the game, was one of the few I loved on my sidekick but this one has better graphics. I remember it getting extremely hard and frustrating later in the game though.

i tried out the light version, its kinda good, but not in depth enough for a turned based stragity IMO.

sound gets anoying with the back and forth shooting.
