BBC iplayer

HELP!!!

I have been happily watching BBC programmes until yesterday when, prompted by a message that there was an upgrade for my Asus Transformer system, I clicked OK. Since then, the BBC iplayer doesn't work. All I get is a blank screen with a funny little cube in the centre.

Can anyone advise me what I can do.

Is it via the website or using the iPlayer app?

There's appears to be an issue with Flash and the ICS update, it's discussed here (and there are other posts in the Transformer section mentioning it), but it doesn't look like there is a fix at the moment.

I was using the BBC website (I think!).

What has happened is that I fiddled with the settings for flash player. They give you a choice of "local" or "peer to peer". I chose "local" and lo and behold my BBC iplayer now works.

I have also discovered an app called MyPlayer, which can be downloaded for free or at a small cost (and providing many more TV channels). It worls like a dream. I highly recommend it.
