There's nothing wrong with android 4.3 itself. Nexus devices ran it just fine without any issues, and Samsung's S4 and Note 3 don't seem to have any problems with it on the android side of things. Problems with their knox program which is not from Google but rather Samsung itself is a different story. The S3 update just seems to be a buggy Samsung build, which would have no baring on how HTC makes a 4.3 build for your device.
 
Nope but i would have liked Kit kat still if we are getting screwed over by HTC think about the owners of the Hox+ that phone could still be brought brand new on contract as little as a year ago. Where are HTC & their minimum of 18 months with that phone.
There again if the Hox+ gets Kit kat there is little adjustment needed for it to run on ours.
 
I have been following a similar thread on XDA that says because of nobody supplying required drivers HOX+ may not get the jump to kitkat.
 
I would be up in arms about that if i were in their shoes, i think HTC are going to lose more people to other manufacturers as a result of this debacle.
I for one wont be getting another HTC, which is a shame as the sense overlay is by far the best.
Still phone support is by far more important than overlays.
 
Yeah me too disgrace not looking after customers when we are all tied into 2 year contracts no more HTC for me either.
