Beautiful Widgets (Halo Theme)

*UPDATE* (11-9-10) Theme is now downloadable in Beautiful Widgets. It is called "GlassNoir" and "GlassNoirFull"
 Noble logo is no longer in the theme. I'll try to have it up soon if you want the logo included in the theme. I'm going to be working on more themes so hopefully they'll get better as I make more. I actually have a few works in progress so something will show up shortly. I'm going to launch a blog for the skins so things are better organized and people will be able to give feedback there.

To match the widget settings I have in the photos below, use a transparency of 50-70%.
Oh...and heres a higher resolution version of the wallpaper (sorry about the other one)

I just made my first skin for Beautiful Widgets in the spirit of Halo Reach. It really doesn't have much to do with the game interface but I tried to make it kinda "sci-fi". The only thing that's really "Halo" about this theme is the Noble logo in the middle. Oh..and I guess the background.

Once I make the landscape layouts and everything is polished, I'll upload it to the Beautiful Widgets people. As for now, you can PM me and I'll email the .zip of the two themes.

It's a work in progress and I only made skins for portrait mode. I'll get to the landscape ones soon. Let me know what you guys think.

That looks really good.

And I don't think I've seen a skin besides the default one that I particularly liked.
 
Thanks for the feedback! I plan on finishing it this week. I will be working on more in the future for sure.
 
I finished the theme and I've sent it to Level Up Studio. I'm at work and I cannot upload the files to Megaupload.com, but when I get home, I will try to get to it tonight. (If you want it now, just PM me and I will email you the .zip)

I've tweaked the theme a little bit and adjusted the numbers so they're a bit more centered and made a few adjustments on the background graphics (one of them was slightly cut off). I took the Noble logo out since I'm sure most people wouldn't care/know what it was.

Fixed the overlapping issues with the widgets and the date. I'll upload new screens eventually.

The Beautiful Widgets Application (latest version 2.99) You can get the application via sites such as 4shared.com by searching "beautiful widgets.apk" and make sure to filter it by largest file first to make sure you get the most recent one as that will be the largest.
I just purchased beautiful widgets on my droid. Works great! But i want to download some skins. When i hit "download skins" it "loads" but nothing pops up. it remains black...
 
am not sure, if the application is region specific, but because it's a paid app and your outside of the U.S I don't believe you can download it directly form the market. But there is an alternative, you can download it from other sites and install it to your phone. To do so you will need..

1. Apk Manager (an Application)
2. an SD Card.
3. The Beautiful Widgets Application (latest version 2.99) You can get the application via sites such as 4shared.com by searching "beautiful widgets.apk" and make sure to filter it by largest file first to make sure you get the most recent one as that will be the largest.

After having gotten the application you open up "Apk Manager" and it should have 2 Panels, "Install | Uninstall" by default your ont he Uninstall side, press the install tab and it will automatically search for .apk files on your SD card, after having found them (should take no longer than a few seconds) touch the application you wish to install and you are done.

I'm sorry that I didn't tell everyone what the theme was called. It is called "GlassNoir" and "GlassNoirFull". Sorry about that guys! Didn't want any copyright issues (doubt there would be...)

I've been working on a Pip-boy theme, but that has a lot of work still to be done.
 
I got an error 203 when I try to connect to server to download your theme. I use Beautiful Widget 3.61, do I need to downgrade to 2.99 ?
